This workshop explores ways in which you can focus your teaching to enable linguistically diverse learners to fully participate, engage in and maximise learning in the subjects you design, coordinate and teach. In order to prepare for the workshop, participants are asked to consider one or more of the challenges we’ve identified, and explore the resources we have provided on our UTSOnline site. Once you’ve signed up for the workshop, you’ll be sent a link to the site.

In the workshop we will explore the academic communication skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, and support you in developing strategies that are relevant to your specific teaching context. We will discuss your plans for integrating these ideas into your teaching using an inquiry-based approach.
