This workshop will show you how to create digital soundscapes using a littleBits Synth Kit and GarageBand. Creating music with littleBits click together circuitry engages sequential thinking, while recording, mixing and EQing in Garageband adds a computational element in the production of dynamic soundscapes. Techniques learned in this class can be easily transposed into lessons to develop these skills, and can be integrated to numerous applications from digital storytelling to data sonifications.
Please note: Participants are encouraged to bring their own Mac laptop if possible.
