First Year Experience Forum | 13 September

You are invited to the First Year Experience forum on Ways to support and facilitate students’ learning in large collaborative classes. 

We will hear from academics (and students) who work  in large subjects, and workshop ways to:

• Enable students to get individualised feedback (OnTask) and manage collaborative work in class and online; (CIC collaboration– Jurgen Schulte)
• Experience and engage your students in collaborating, cooperating and developing skills in listening to each other through ‘improv’ activities that almost anyone can do;  (FASS FYE grant – Cale Bain and team)
• Engage students in creative, collaborative and authentic learning experiences, the BCII way…(FTDi– Jacqueline Melvold and BCII students)

Plus plenty of opportunities to network during activities and over afternoon tea
