The UTS Teaching and Learning Forum is an exciting day in the UTS calendar. It’s the day we see just how many wonderful teaching and learning initiatives are taking place in subjects across UTS. The day is full of interactive presentations covering initiatives ranging from flipped and active learning, to authentic assessment and the embedding of professional capabilities. The UTS learning.futures ethos is embodied in the Forum. It’s vibrant, active, thought-provoking, and inclusive. Come along and ‘feel it’ for yourself. Shirley Alexander (DVC Education and Students) will begin the Forum with an opening keynote. The remainder of the day is devoted to short presentations and demonstrations from academics and professional support staff. There are plenty of breaks scheduled throughout the day to chat with presenters and colleagues. The day closes with post-Forum drinks, which will be held in the new LX.Lab. The Forum is free and open to all UTS staff, including casual academics.

The Forum will be held on Friday 17 November from 9-5 (followed by drinks), in Building 6 (DAB Building). Register via this form.
